Lego Party

I was excited to learn that I was requested to style a Lego themed party. There are so many fun Lego parties online so inspiration abounded! I seem to do so many girls parties, so I was up for something a little different for a change.

I was immediately drawn to the bold, bright colors of Legos and made sure that everything had the pop of the primary colors from the backdrop to the sweets. The party printables by Renee’s Soirees I used were quite simple in nature, but aren’t Legos simple too? Well, when the birthday boy wanted to showcase his Lego works of art which were incorporated into the dessert table – and Legos don’t seem so simple any longer.

The dessert table had to have the traditional Lego Head as the centerpiece – it’s almost not a Lego party without one. I know it’s been done many a time, but it’s like having a party without cake if you take away Mr. Lego Head. Besides, the birthday boy was stoked to see it there and that’s what it’s really about anyway. We had a fun game of ‘Guess the Number of Legos’ in the jar which was very popular for both the children and adults alike! The backdrop used was an inspiration from Piggy Bank Parties.
